Our service includes assessment for training, behavioral issues, or for purchase. 

We can also help determine the cause and suggest remedies for behavioral issues. 

Shortcuts taken in foundational training are often the cause of behavioral issues.  We employ the positive reinforcement that comes instinctively to herd horses to establish trust and build cooperation.

We are not vets, but where pain may be observed as an issue, we can recommend a good veterinary service.

Training is done at your location provided the facilities are minimally acceptable. 

True horsemanship is based on a partnership built step by step through trust, understanding, and agreement.

Groundwork is the foundation of every good training program. It is no surprise, however, that the value of groundwork is sometimes minimized and shortcuts taken.

Young or old, small or large, your horse's problems under saddle may be resolved by going back to the basics of consistent groundwork.

Our Soft Touch approach to training and groundwork can help you establish, or reestablish, that partnership.

If it wasn't so sad for the horse, one of the most amusing situations to watch is a couple of people trying to load a balky horse into a trailer with other people running around swinging ropes and yelling "better" ideas about how to do it.

No doubt we've all been there, and understand there is no magic method for loading a horse that is uncooperative. 

Finding the reason for the lack of cooperation and softening the horse, while building trust and understanding is the key to our success in challenging situations, such as loading.
